Autumn Winter 2015

Horoscopes, constellations and frozen forests are the inspiration behind SERPUI’s FW15 collection. As a star chart filled with great expectations, the brand proposes a strong and innovative Fall group, punctuated by graphic prints, geometric lines, sparkly elements and a beautiful mix of materials and shapes.

The lines used to map the stars are shown in resin and stainless steel clutches, as well as on SERPUI’s signature mother of pearl miniaudières. Using such sharp graphic elements, the brand managed to create an innovative geometry, designing exquisite new patterns.

The zodiac signs are shown in a resin group, with prints inspired by the symbols of Ancient Greek. Earth, fire, water and air, each element has its signs represented in pastel shades of grey, acqua, rose and off white.

In addition to the exoteric inspiration, the line also shows a group based on the beautiful winter nature of north America. Stepping away from her native Brazil, and the fauna and flora that are always present in her collections, designer Serpui Marie creates prints and embroideries based on the frozen forests of Canada and on the Maple leaf, symbol of that country.

The color pallet is powerful yet simple. Using black and white as base, the brand brings in a few pastel shades of grey and off white, contrasting with sharper shades of burgundy, yellow and acqua, transforming each clutch in a piece of art.

Overall, SERPUI’s Fall 15 collection proposes a sensorial trip trough each bag, analysing prints, colors, shapes and materials with precision and sharpness. An invitation to explore the senses through each carefully made clutch.
