Spring Summer 2015

The SERPUI SS15 collection celebrates a new brand identity that embraces the “S” as its symbol. The “S” is designed in a graphic style and can be seen throughout the collection on the clasps of the handbags and clutches. The label is now called SERPUI giving an elegant, sophisticated and clean identity.

SERPUI presents many different categories of styles this season that are both new and classic to the line. Mother Nature is always an important inspiration for Serpui’s work. The SS15 collection is comprised of zebras, parrots, butterflies, flowers and more. They can be seen featured as delicate handmade straw embroideries or as painted images on resin minaudières. From nature she chooses her color palette which is comprised of but not limited to mint, coral, yellow, purple, pink, black and white. They appear as is or coordinated with other shades.

Another influence for the SERPUI SS15 collection is the artist Sol LeWitt and the Art Deco period. Serpui plays with black and white patterns in different materials such as leather, water snake and lacquered woods.

The skin crocodile minaudière is the most exclusive and limited in the collection beautifully combining crocodile and stainless steel together in an effortless and artistic way.

Serpui continues to develop clutches that are sustainable by introducing recycled newspaper clutches offered in different prints and colors. This season they are available in the shape of books that are a perfect fit for small tablets and readers.

Mother of pearl minaudières are classic to the collection and are presented as clean shapes or mixed with delicate metal lines. Another classic group reworked are the crystal bead minaudières presented in new colors such as emerald and amethyst or mixed black and white.

As SERPUI embarks on this new identity we invite you to explore the collection and to enjoy the creations as not just beautiful handbags but works of art.
